Future in a clamshell

We faced a very motivating challenge when we were commissioned to renovate and modernize a pharmacy which built in the 80's. The Hatvani István pharmacy in Debrecen hasn't changed from the beginning. It has loyally represented the original style of own time.

The pharmacy was reborn in several ways. The new pharmacy design turned the officina into a huge, undivided space. The fresh and bright colours ensure a minimalist atmosphere and raise the feeling of spaciousness of officina to the highest level.

The new officina walked into the brightness. We applied both artificial and natural lighting solutions in optimal cooperation. We installed the most modern LED lighting system in the pharmacy ceiling which perfectly supplements the natural light from outside. We replaced all the old windows on the facade. With the new large-size, thermal glass windows we increased to maximum the amount of natural light in the pharmacy.

Time travel embodies not only in the new design. The most important is to stay healthy health preservation according to the new pharmacy image, in contrast to the old point of view, which focuses on the treatment of illness.

Minimalist furniture completes the modern, future-oriented pharmacy design.Our customer's requirement was that the pharmacy could operate under the construction. This special request increased the complexity of the work. We have a lot of experience of fulfilling this kind of demands, that's why we could solve this easily. We rebuilt the pharmacy in phases, therefore it could operate without any interruption during the renovation.

During reconstruction of Hatvani István pharmacy, we jumped in time decades ahead in a few weeks. Meanwhile, we successfully implemented the health-oriented Gyöngy pharmacy design.
