Precise assembly in the morning, quick disassembling in the evening; rapid journey to the next city and start from the beginning. This was our schedule for no less than eleven days! OKÉ stand showed that a unique mobile stand could be even more than a serial production!
Eleven days - the lenght of the OKÉ Marathon Run we followed day by day. Every morning starting from the top, our unique mobile stand was ready for use in half an hour! How was this amazing stand designed, and how could we build it up over and over?
Let’s start with the construction: if it was a fully knock-down stand, its elements would surely damage during the day-to-day assemblies. So we switched into a higher gear - our solution is a tight aluminium frame that can be craned in one single piece! The result is a really lightweight structure with shapeable design.
A festival stand should be youngish and loose
- especially if it has quite a serious function: OKÉ stand was a place for opening new bank accounts, that lures customers by shaping a youthful brand image. We wanted to enhance this effect by creating a really fresh and homy interior.
All the furniture, including the parasols and illuminating barrels could be packed inside the aluminium frame, where they were locked to its floor by special screwing. Under the cover of a unique tarp, this safe and compact package could be carried to the next stop of the marathon!
