The kitchen is the heart of every home, where flavours, memories, and family moments come together. Divian’s team are Hungary’s true kitchen experts — so we designed the perfect showroom for them, a space where every visitor can discover the kitchen of their dreams!

With two decades of experience – and production volumes that reach about 10,000 kitchens a year, or roughly 100 every single day – Divian Kitchen Workshop has become one of the most recognisable names in Hungarian home design. This year, the company set itself a new mission: to introduce a ground breaking retail concept to the domestic market. The goal is
to let customers encounter top quality kitchen furniture in welcoming, homelike showrooms that make the selection process a true pleasure.

We began designing the ideal showroom by studying international benchmarks: we analysed Danish, Swedish, Belgian, and British manufacturers of similar size. Our research revealed several common threads – pavilion style spatial layouts, clear and comprehensible display areas, and cosy planning corners where customers can sit down to design. Building on these insights and drawing on our own decades of design and build experience, we distilled our ideas into a showroom concept of about 150 square metres: a blueprint for the perfect kitchen exhibition space.

Through the showroom’s clean, glass façade – branded only with Divian’s key identity elements – passers by can already glimpse the interior design. Stepping inside, visitors arrive in a welcoming reception zone, large enough for tasting events or live demonstrations. From here, a curated customer pathway unfolds, guiding guests past 6-7 “kitchen boxes,” each styled with a fully modelled standard kitchen in a distinct mood. The experience tour continues to the designer stations, where 3D planning services are offered, and to adjoining sample libraries. There is even a cosy kids’ corner for the little ones. Living plant walls, soft colour palettes, and refined material choices all enhance the friendly, homelike atmosphere.

Creating a unified showroom design marks a true milestone in Divian’s history: the new interior architecture brand identity will give the retail arm a huge boost. This year, stores built to the fresh concept will open in Baja, Nyíregyháza, and Budapest, making quality kitchen furniture genuinely accessible to everyone.
