Orange Cube team loves aiming on large-scale projects: recently, we worked on functional conversion of a whole mall bulding! Here is the story of an old automobile showroom, that became a professional reform nutrition supermarket!

MediLine is the No. 1 Hungarian reform food distributor company. They had a pretentious plan: besides the successful warehouse, they wanted to offer some special services. However, retail customer segment requires a completely new company image: our task was to create an integrated, customer-centric graphical and architectural appearance.
The task was fairly complicated: according to MediLine’s plans, the new service center and supermarket were placed into an aging building that was built as an automobile showroom. So the project had two main directions: the modification of the interior, and the renovation of the facades.
The exterior needed serious reforms. Our main goal was to change the old, gloomy effect: the new brand image has a joyful, green-white colour combination, that conveys a positive impression and makes the building easily markable. Besides the high-standard information totem and the drive-in food service, we also layed out the routes of the inner yard. In supermarket interior we implemented advanced brand communication: due to prime materials and aligned colours, this is a customer-centric, impulsive environment. A few treatment rooms were formed on the second floor, having respect for the servivces’ special requirements.

Thanks to our team’s hard work, the badly maintained building was fairly revitalized – it would seem that it was originally built for its new function. Since the opening, the unique service center is a must-see destination for health-conscious customers.
