With the creation of the new Vital Market sub-brand, Alma Pharmacies have taken their shop in shop concept to the next level. Now, the pharmacy's shopping area features products that were previously only found in drugstores,

We integrated the design of the new section seamlessly into the officina space, following the familiar, transparent layout and welcoming atmosphere of Alma Pharmacies. With flexible metal shelves and a clean, easily navigable arrangement of header panels, shelf flags, and graphics, we aimed to enhance the shopping experience by making orientation effortless for customers.

We made Vital Market stand out with several unique design solutions. Our new primary colors are anthracite and vivid orange, while shelf flags were complemented by elegant, curved wooden inlays. To ensure visibility from a distance, we suspended a large, custom-made, curved illuminated frieze above the area, making the new section instantly recognizable. Despite its impressive size, we installed the frieze with perfect horizontal alignment — achieved through multiple fine adjustments, a precise work of our construction team.

With its spring 2024 opening, the new shop in shop became Hungary’s first pharmacy-drugstore hybrid. This milestone marked the fruition of over a year of creative pharmacy design development for Vital Market, which has since expanded to Nyíregyháza as part of another pharmacy upgrade. Through this fresh, health-conscious lifestyle concept, we are introducing a new vision to Alma and Gyöngy Pharmacies — one that will soon appear in even more locations!
