It has been 25 years since the opening of the first pharmacy in Szeged which supports athletes and distributes homeopathic products, where smiling colleagues and a huge stock await the health-conscious customer. We were also touched by this attitude:
only a forward-looking pharmacy design fits such a positive place!
The atmosphere of the interior is dominated by the contrast between the classically designed, mass-like storage row and wall furniture and the playful zigzagging ceiling above them. We connected these markedly different worlds with a harmonious choice of colors using a homely beige-pastel combination on the floor, furniture and wall surfaces. Next to this,
we recalled the old days by back-lit glass plate pictures, and with the multi-burner chandeliers saved from the past.
Finally, away from the shopping area, we have created a private conversation corner sorrunded by opal glass walls, that can be reached through a mini exhibition.
We made modest changes to the facade of the more than a hundred-year-old, eclectic building: apart from the mandatory elements, the pharmacy design only appears with smaller illuminated signs and plastic inscriptions, subtly indicating the rich interior. We were happy to confirm how well the colors of the facade and the interior complement each other!
In the redesigned interior design of Kabay Pharmacy, we combined classic forms and innovative pharmacy design elements. With the renovation, we gave the pharmacy's patina atmosphere a modern look - the sportsmen's pharmacy got a new elan!
