Budai Szent Anna Pharmacy facelift

A 21st century pharmacy

Do you remember that feeling when you enter an aging Hungarian pharmacy? Why do you want to leave as soon as possible? How could it be otherwise? Now you can see how we imagine a pharmacy of the 21st century.

A 21st century pharmacy
Everybody knows the image of an ordinary Hungarian pharmacy: there is a crowded, purely lightened interior, where some bored people are waiting to reach the high rigid counters, hiding medicine inside. However, is it possible to design a drugstore that people would gladly visit?
A 21st century pharmacy
Of course, yes! When we created the Budai Szent Anna Pharmacy brand, our goal was to send a message: the Hungarian pharmacy design should be reconsidered! Great lighting, wide variation of colours, fresh overall design - these words were far from the branch until now. In this store the desired products can be selected from roomy furniture made from natural materials, so they feel closer to the customer.
A 21st century pharmacy
Medicines requiring prescription were placed behind the counter, which design was inspired by orderliness and health maintenance. Popular products can be browsed from freely placed stands and also from the shelving which features inbuilt hidden lighting. For special products, our designers created a customdesigned section following hectic style language. As a result, the interior became stylish and simple at the same time: this is a place where customers feel comfortable and welcome.
A 21st century pharmacy
The construction itself was a fascinating logistical challenge. During the renovation the pharmacy was open: to make this happen, we had to finish the running part in a single weekend! Than we kept on working behind a temporary wall, and the parts of the puzzle were only met when it was pulled down. Although, if you enter the shop – and even if you have an experienced eye – you wouldn’t tell where could be the borderline.
A 21st century pharmacy
With this project we stood up against old concepts and created a pharmacy focused on well being rather than illness. The result is one of the most innovative pharmacies in Budapest, inspired by international trends with the desire to be followed.
